Our little artist!

Mele is going through a really funny stage, of drawing everything she sees.. And than writing a sentence or two explaining her drawing. And today, I just couldn't pass up blogging about it! Lol..

She did this picture earlier today, when Nick came home for lunch.. ha ha

She showed me and Nick, and we couldn't stop laughing! Nick has the biggest zit right under his eye, and she did a great job drawing it! ha ha We kept wondering why she was asking us to help her spell pimple??! Lol We kept telling her to just sound it out, cause that's usually what we tell her when she's trying to spell different words. Come to find out, she was drawing a picture of Nick's pimple, and writing about it! ha ha She is too funny! It's the simple things like this, that make us enjoy being parents! ha ha..

I kept trying to get a picture of Nick's pimple, but he was not having it! ha ha.. I'll get one when he's asleep! Lol

Spencer on the other hand, is rockin a new hairdo! ha ha The mohawk is gone! :( I'm so sad, but the way his hawk was growing?? It was just way too curly! So we decided since his curls were so nice, that we would try to grow all his hair out.. So I can't wait to see how it'll turn out! :)

Baby Lebron..

So we were back in Utah, this past weekend for the Labor Day holiday.. It was such a fun and busy weekend.

The main reason for our trip home, was for Nick to bless his cousin/brother Vita's baby.. Vita asked Nick about two months ago, so Nick was pretty excited. Nick wasn't able to bless our first two, so this would be the first baby blessing for him. He was really nervous, but felt really good about it at the same time. Lol

Nick and Vita are first cousins. But they grew up together, so they're pretty much brothers. :) They are really close! Even though, they're both married with kids now, they always call and see how each other is doing! Lol.. Nick has told me so many stories about the things they would do, and all the trouble they would get into together! Lol They were terrible! ha ha.. Vita went on his mission, and Nick went in a different direction! Lol.. He married me and we had two beautiful babies! Best mission ever! ha ha ha.. So it was pretty crazy to everyone, that Nick would be blessing Vita's baby! ha ha.. Cause they always thought, it would be the other way around!.. Lol

So Sunday came around, and Nick was ready to go! :) I didn't know I was going to get so emotional during the whole thing! ha ha.. Just watching Nick walk up to the front holding baby Lebron, made me tear up. What made me tear up even more, was that no one was there to stand in the circle, other than the bishop and a few men from the stake. There were other family members baby blessings that same day, so not everyone could make it. :( But when Nick started blessing Baby Lebron?.. All that was forgotten! It was a beautiful blessing, and I am so proud of my husband! You could tell he was so nervous, but we felt the spirit so strong! :) I am extremely grateful to have a worthy priesthood holder in my family! And I look forward to our children to come! Just knowing that Nick will be able to bless our babies, brings me so much joy! :)

All Vita's ward members were so welcoming, from the second we arrived! It made Nick feel so much more comfortable! So a big thank you to the Cannon 3rd ward! Lol.. And a big thank you to Tai, Luke, and John for also coming out to Lebron's baby blessing.. You guys are truly life long friends, and we love you guys! :) And to Vita and Oli, thank you for giving Nick the honor of blessing your son! He is such a beautiful baby! And we are so proud that you guys are trying to jump back on track with your little (growing) family! :) So many blessings are in store for your family! :) Thank you again, and we love you guys! :)

Our Little Go Getters! Lol

Where to start, where to start?! Lol.. I have so much to blog about! Let's start with Mele's first day of school. :)

Mele, started her first day of 1rst grade, here in Colorado. She started about two weeks ago, and boy was that an unforgettable morning! Lol She woke up around 6:45 am. She got ready and ate breakfast, and than we headed to her school. :) So in Utah, it was normal to see parents in their morning looks! ha ha So being a normal parent, that's what I did! I went in my morning looks, knowing I had to drop papers off to the main office before I could leave. So terrible, right?! LOL.. When we pull up, all the parents are there dropping off their kids, and they are all dressed and ready for the day! WTH?! I didn't care though, all I wanted to do was make sure Mele got to class okay! And pray that she wouldn't cry for me!! LOL (Mele NEVER cries for me!!LOL But for some reason, I thought this would be the day!! ha ha) So she gets out of the car, and takes off running towards her class! While I'm running behind her, telling her to wait for me!! Lol She just turned and yelled," Just go to the office mom! I'm okay!!" I was so butt hurt! Lol She was totally embarrassed of me! I always thought of myself, as a "COOL MOM!!"LOL.. So feeling sorry for myself, I walked to the main office! Hoodie, basketball shorts, hair trying to get away from my head, garments hanging out of my basketball shorts!! LOL It was not cute! Lol But the people here, are so nice! They hecka made me feel like I wasn't looking like a complete mess! ha ha I walked out, to find Nick waiting by our car! Lol He looked me up and down, and couldn't stop laughing! ha ha Then the words I needed to hear, came out of his mouth," Hey, hot mama! You look a mess!!" LOL.. I really almost cried! ha ha It was so bad! But I was so glad to see that Nick, made it to her school to see her off on her first day of 1rst grade. Cause he missed her first day of Kindergarten.:( I guess while I was in the office, he was able to go in with her and meet her teacher. She could never be embarrassed of her dad! She is such a daddy's girl! I should have smacked her! LOL.. J/K..

Mele has school from 7:55-4:00, which is a crazy long day! Lol She has such long days, cause she only has school Monday-Thursdays. And they have no kind of sympathy for their students being in school so long either, cause they hecka send her home with tons of homework! Lol There's only 12 kids in her class, including herself. Lol Her teacher called me after her first day of school, and gave me her home number. Just in case I ever needed to get a hold of her for anything. Lol Who does that, right?? Well, the teachers here like to be super involved in their students lives! And we love it!

When it came down to buying Mele's school supplies, we didn't have to buy anything. The school provided it all! I even get reimbursed for driving her to school. They add up the milage I drive everyday to take her, and cut me a check at the end of every month. How neat is that?! Lol.. We're even able to go have lunch with her everyday. We are so glad that we were able to start Mele, in school out here! The education is GREAT! :)

Mele, absolutely loves it out here! She is our fearless child! She is our little Miss.Independent! :) And we are so proud of her!

Next up.. our crazy son, Spencer! Lol..

He had his pre-school testing last Thursday, the 27th of August. And he did GREAT! He was scoring in the 5 and 6 year olds age group. We are so proud of him. He's always been into reading and learning new things. I think we owe that to Mele! Lol He's always trying to keep up with her! ha ha.. And of course, she hates it! Nick kept calling throughout his testing, to see how he was doing?.. Lol When I told him, he made us meet him for lunch to take Spencer out. Lol He is one proud daddy! :)

Spencer officially started his first day of pre-school, on Monday, the 31rst of August. He and Mele, both got up with Nick, when he got up to get ready for work. He was so excited to get ready for school! :) They ate breakfast, and than we were on our way! Lol When we pulled up, Nick was already at his school.. ha ha See what I mean?? Such a proud daddy! Lol He had to see Spencer go into the school and all that good stuff! Lol

Spencer has school from 7:55-11:00.. It's not long at all, but he LOVES it! He gets along great with the teachers, and all the other kids. He was never a morning person, but now that he has school??.. He wakes up early all the time, without a single complaint! ha ha He's our little go getter! ha ha..

We love that our babies are both in school and that they're both doing so well! :) Being out here has definitely brought our little family closer together! And we are so glad that we decided to not be apart from Nick this year! Best decision ever! :)
